Dental Oncology
The Dental Oncology Clinic
The Dental Oncology Clinic assists patients before they undergo cancer treatment. We are staffed by a dentist that specialises in treating cancer patients and those medically compromised in the community. Our consultants include oral pathologists, endodontist and maxillofacial surgeons.

We are located on the main floor of the cancer centre (Level 0), beside the elevators.
 
What We Do
We provide care prior to cancer treatments including:
  • Head and neck radiation
  • Head and neck surgery
  • Bone marrow transplant
  • Treatment of lymphoma/ hodgkins disease
  • Treatment of multiple myeloma
  • Treatment of other sites with chemotherapy
We offer prosthetic rehabilitation for patients who require intra oral prosthetic as a result of surgery.
 
We provide services to patients referred from the dental and medical community for oral cancer screening.
