Health Sciences North has a strong commitment to patient safety and quality improvement. Furthering our efforts to provide the best patient care, we post our surgical wait times and results from the Picker Patient Satisfaction Survey used by most hospitals in Canada.

Financial Accountabilities
In addition to making the hospital’s financial statements publicly available, Health Sciences North is also required to post its Hospital Services Accountability Agreement (H-SAA). Hospitals are required to sign an H-SAA with their respective Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). The H-SAA articulates the core accountabilities of the NE LHIN and HSN including funding, hospital services, planning processes, roles and performance obligations.
