HSN mourns the loss of Dr. William Fay

Health Sciences North/Horizon Santé-Nord (HSN) is sad to learn of the death of Dr. William Fay, who passed away Friday at the age of 72. Dr. Fay was a pioneer in dialysis treatment in Greater Sudbury and northeastern Ontario.

Problems with medications is one of the most common reasons patients are readmitted to hospital after being discharged. Patients often aren’t sure what the proper dosage should be and medications prescribed by various doctors, either in the community or at the hospital, can counteract each other.
