Positive Steps 

The Positive Steps program supports those who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective or bipolar disorder. Our team helps individuals to live, learn and work independently at home and in the community.    

Positive Steps offers many services to help you. These include: 

Medication Support Clinic: Our nursing staff can provide help with: monitoring medication compliance, monitoring symptoms of illness and medication side effects, provide information and education on your illness and work with you to maintain and enhance wellness. Nurses also provide family/care-giver support and education. 

Case Management Services: Our team provides community outreach visits to your home, as well as skills development through group activities.  Team members will work with you to support your personal goals, manage symptoms, monitor risks, carry out your treatment plan and promote wellness and recovery in the community. 

Rehabilitation and Recovery Program: This service is designed to help you improve your daily functioning through individual and group sessions to develop life skills, promote healthy living and educate you and your loved ones. Particular attention is paid to employment goals helping you develop job skills for paid employment.
