We are asking all patients and visitors coming to HSN to please wear a mask as an added step to reduce the spread of germs and protect vulnerable patients. Handmade masks are NOT acceptable. When you arrive at the hospital as a patient or care partner a hospital approved mask will be provided to you and you will be expected to wear it during your time at HSN to keep yourself, other patients and care partners and our staff, physicians, learners and volunteers safe.

Patients going for a procedure where they must remove the mask will be asked to keep it ready to be put back on once the procedure is completed.

    Mood and Anxiety Program (MAP)

    This program provides group based therapy services for individuals 16 years of age and older who are experiencing depression, bi-polar disorder, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder.  The program also provides therapy for individuals with borderline personality disorders. The MAP team uses evidence-based structured approaches to psychotherapy including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness based approaches and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

    This community- based program provides individualized counselling and treatment services to persons 16 years and over who have mental health concerns and for individuals diagnosed with a mental illness. The catchment area includes Elliot Lake, Spanish, Spragge, Serpent River, Algoma Mills, Blind River and Iron Bridge (North Shore). The main office is in Elliot Lake with an outreach office in Blind River. Services are provided in the office and in the community.

The main office is located in Espanola with an outreach office is in Massey.  Outreach to other communities/sites is available dependent on needs.     This community- based program provides individualized counselling and treatment services to persons 16 years and over who have mental health concerns and for individuals diagnosed with a mental illness. The program serves residents of Manitoulin Island.  The main office is located in Little Current with outreach offices in Mindemoya, Gore Bay and Silverwater.  Outreach to other communities/sites is available dependent on needs. The program serves residents of the eastern District of Sudbury. The main office is located in St. Charles with an outreach office in Noelville.  Services are provided to persons living in Markstay, Warren, St. Charles, Noëlville, Alban, Monetville and Killarney. Outreach to other communities/sites is available dependent on needs. Services are provided in the office and in the community.
